L'idea della mostra nasce da desideri ed esigenze profonde, prima fra tutte quella di testimoniare e far emergere la forza e l’eredità di una generazione passata su quella presente, con un'opera del maestro Paul Russotto scelta con perspicacia e precisione da Gianfranco Grosso.
Una sottrazione, quella dell'artista più giovane, indirizzata al riconoscimento del percorso artistico legato alla storia che produce un aspetto totalmente spiazzante.
Due artisti che si affrontano e che dichiarano la portata emozionale di entrambi.
Il gesto primario del creare frecce semantiche li accomuna in un rituale di rispetto reciproco dove il creare genera evoluzione.
Son of the South è l’anello di congiunzione convenzionale che richiama al senso di appartenenza ad un ordine.
