« L'universo si sta espandendo, stelle e galassie si stanno continuamente allontanando da noi, aumentando di conseguenza la
Secondo la meccanica quantistica due oggetti anche se spazialmente distanti tra loro, sono uniti da una connessione che li rende dipendenti gli uni agli altri, una microscopica interconnessione universale, detta Entanglement, che si propaga conseguentemente anche a scale maggiori, fornendo le basi per la nascita dei grandi corpi celesti a noi conosciuti.
"759 AC 88" è un'installazione composta da una base di forma poliedrica cosparsa da 759 aghi da cucito di varia dimensione collegati tra loro da un sottile filo argenteo. Il disegno che si crea è al limite tra il visibile e l'invisibile e corrisponde alla visione immaginaria che l'uomo si è fatto delle 88 costellazioni riconosciute dall'Unione Astronomica Internazionale.
Ogni stella corrisponde ad un ago. Ogni ago si differenzia in base alla magnitudo, ovvero alla luminosità, della stella a cui fa riferimento. Ogni costellazione è cucita insieme alle altre in un ordine che non corrisponde all'ordine di grandezza dell'intera costellazione, bensì all'ordine di grandezza del disegno che l'uomo ha attribuito a tale costellazione. Una striscia di luce led che contorna la base, illumina trasversalmente aghi e filo, sino a proiettarne l'ombra al di là dell'installazione stessa, rompendo quel confine, in realtà inesistente, dello spazio a noi conosciuto.»
Nicole Voltan è nata a Mestre (Venezia) nel 1984. Dopo aver compiuto studi umanistici, si laurea con lode in Decorazione all'Accademia di Belle arti di Venezia. Attualmente vive a Roma. Lavora principalmente con l'installazione, ma anche con pittura, scultura, fotografia e videoarte.
Nel 2011 partecipa al Circuito off della X edizione di FOTOGRAFIA - Festival Internazionale di Roma - con una personale alla galleria Whitecubealpigneto.
Nel 2009 è rappresentata dalla galleria "Florence Art Gallery, Galleria fiorentina d'arte". Nel 2008 partecipa all'iniziativa "CU/CM La città dell'uomo - Abito&Habitat", evento collaterale del' 11° Biennale di Architettura di Venezia. Nel 2007 espone a Milano con la personale "Nel segreto di una valigia" presso il Circolo Culturale Bertolt Brecht.
Partecipa a mostre collettive a Roma, Treviso, Venezia, Milano, Firenze, Alessandria, Istanbul, Capodistria e Izola (Slovenia).

"The
universe is expanding, stars and galaxies are constantly moving away from us,

According
to quantum mechanics two objects, even if spatially distant from each other,
are joined by a connection which makes them dependent to each other, a
microscopic universal interconnection, said Entanglement, which propagates
consequently also to a larger scale, providing the basis for the birth of large
celestial bodies known to us.
"759
AC 88" is an installation made from a plinth of polyhedral shape sprinkled from 759
sewing needles of various sizes connected together by a thin silver wire. The
drawning created is the boundary between the visible and the invisible, and
corresponds to the imaginary vision that man makes of the 88 constellations,
recognized by the International Astronomical.
Each star
corresponds to a needle. Each needle is different according to the magnitude,
or the brightness of the star to which it refers. Each constellation is sewn
together with the other in an order that does not match the size of the entire
constellation, but refers to the magnitude of the design that man has given to
this constellation. A strip of LED light that surrounds the base, lights across
needles and thread to project onto it a shadow over the installation itself,
breaking that boundary, actually non-existent space known.
Nicole Voltan, born in Mestre (Venice) in 1984. After studying humanities, she
graduated with honors in decoration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. And
now she lives in Rome. She works primarily with the installation, but also with
painting, sculpture, photography and video art.
In 2011
participates in the circuit off of the tenth edition of PHOTOGRAPHY -
International Festival of Rome - with a solo show at the gallery
Whitecubealpigneto.
In 2009 he
represented the gallery "Florence Art Gallery, Gallery of Florentine
art." In 2008 she participated in the "CU / CM The City of Man -
Dress & Habitat", a side event of the '11th Biennale of Architecture
in Venice. In 2007 he exhibited in Milan with the staff "In the secret of
a suitcase" at the Circle Bertolt Brecht.
Group
